Shipping Costs
Free delivery is available to selected areas on orders over $95, subject to the following conditions:
- The order total must exceed $95 after all discounts and coupons are applied.
- Free delivery is available on the Australian mainland only.
- Delivery charges are excluded from the order value calculation.
- Free delivery may exclude large or bulky items, which may attract an additional surcharge from our courier partners.
- Any applicable shipping costs will be clearly displayed at checkout*

- Adelaide
- Selected large provincial towns along the east coast of Australia
- Other selected major regional areas
For orders under $95, or deliveries outside our free delivery zones, shipping costs will be calculated and advised at checkout.
*Remote area or international charges will be quoted and invoiced separately.
Oversized & Bulky Items
Shipping costs for some oversized or bulky items may be quoted at checkout or after purchase.
Oversized & bulky items include, but are not limited to:
- Large tents
- Furniture
- Gazebos and similar oversized shade items
Remote area deliveries – if you live out near the back of Bourke, past the black stump, or somewhere beautifully off the beaten track – and you’re ordering something big, we may need to have a chat about the shipping costs.
Shipping costs to predominantly remote areas cannot be calculated at checkout. If this occurs, you will be asked to complete your purchase excluding freight charges. We will contact you by the end of the next business day with a shipping quote.
- If you accept the quoted shipping cost, it will be invoiced and charged separately.
- If you decline, your order will be fully refunded.
Order Processing
Orders are processed and dispatched within 2 business days. Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with the freight carrier details and tracking information so you can monitor delivery progress.
PO Box & Parcel Locker Deliveries
We can deliver some small items (generally up to 5kg) to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers. If delivery to a PO Box or Parcel Locker is not possible for your order, we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery address.
Transit Times
Orders are shipped from our Brisbane warehouse. Transit times vary depending on destination, item size, and shipping method.
- Most orders are delivered within 1–10 business days
- East coast deliveries are typically received within 1–5 business days
Delivery timeframes are estimates only. Delays caused by freight carriers are outside our control.
Delivery
We use a range of delivery partners (including Australia Post, Aramex, Toll Ipec and TNT Road Express), selected based on destination, size, and weight.
- Deliveries occur during business hours (9am–5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
Authority to Leave (ATL)
You may choose to provide Authority to Leave at checkout, allowing the courier to leave your parcel without a signature.
- By selecting “Yes” to Authority to Leave, you authorise SlumberTrek Outdoor Connection and its delivery partners to leave your order in a safe and accessible location at the delivery address provided.
Consent & Responsibility
- Once delivery is confirmed by the courier (including GPS tracking or photo evidence), responsibility for the parcel passes to you. Outdoor Connection and its delivery partners are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage after delivery.
We strongly recommend providing a delivery address that is attended during business hours.
Safe Drop Location
If Authority to Leave is granted, the courier will attempt to leave the parcel in a reasonably secure and weather-protected location. If no suitable location is available, the parcel may be redirected at the courier’s discretion. In this situation:
- Collection from the depot is the customer’s responsibility.
- Redelivery may be arranged, however any redelivery fees charged by the courier will be passed on to the customer.
High-Value or Restricted Items
For certain high-value or regulated items, we reserve the right to require a signature on delivery, even if Authority to Leave was selected.
No Authority to Leave
- If no Authority to Leave has been provided, a signature will be required on delivery. Please check the number of cartons against the delivery docket before signing.
- Collection from the depot is the customer’s responsibility.
- Redelivery may be arranged, however any redelivery fees charged by the courier will be passed on to the customer.
We strongly recommend providing a delivery address that is attended during business hours.
Delivery Attempts
Only one delivery attempt is included. Any additional delivery attempts or redirection will be at the customer’s expense.
Disputes
In the event of a delivery dispute, Outdoor Connection will rely on courier records (tracking details, GPS data, and delivery photos where available) as confirmation of delivery. Customers should lodge delivery disputes directly with the courier in the first instance.
Consumer Rights
These terms operate in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which cannot be excluded.
Shipping Delays Due to Infrastructure Disruptions
Natural events or infrastructure disruptions (such as floods, cyclones, or road closures) may impact delivery timeframes in certain regions.
Items most likely to be affected include:
- Large tents
- Furniture
- Gazebos and similar oversized items
Smaller parcels, particularly those shipped via Australia Post, are typically less affected.
We actively monitor affected orders and will contact customers if delays are anticipated. If you require a large item urgently, please contact us to discuss alternative shipping arrangements.
